Casa Armas

The owners welcomed us so warmly, something we rarely come across. I stayed one night with three friends while walking the Camino, and it's a night I'll remember. The cottage is compact but comfortable, and there's a little hidden gem in the garden. This place leaves you with a lot of emotion.

The room we got was cramped and not cleaned well, with an uncomfortable bed. The photos make the house look lovely, but they don't show the room you're actually assigned and feel like a decoy. Breakfast felt sterile, and there wasn't a table outside for eating when the weather allowed. After one shower, there was no hot water left. I've never had a stay like it. The house looks so nice in the pictures... Mr. Dino, so much for goodbye.

We were in a quiet spot just a few metres from Portixeddu, and the studio was ideal for two. Mr. Dino was very helpful. Having a little kitchenette was especially important in March, when everything was closed, and we had no car for getting around Buggerru. Thanks again!

Everything we needed as two pilgrims on the Santa Barbara mining trail was there. The rooms and garden had a lovely feel, and she greeted us with figs freshly picked from her tree. Highly recommend!
