Agriturismo La Frattina

Alberto’s cooking was a highlight. It was generous, full of care, and deeply Tuscan. As someone who eats gluten free, I was especially thankful that he went to such lengths to make lovely gluten free dishes for me, and made it all seem easy. Our room in the Granaia barn was spacious, elegant, and so comfortable. Even the details were thought through, from the pillows and curtains to the room temperature. The bathroom was beautifully done, and the heated brick floor was a lovely touch. The property itself is stunning, restored with character and a balance of rustic charm and understated luxury. Alberto and Louise made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Their generosity and enthusiasm for what they’ve built show in all the little things. La Frattina feels like a love letter to Tuscany, and the hosting is every bit as special as the accommodation. We left so grateful and would return in a heartbeat.

We had a fabulous stay and will certainly be back soon. Alberto and Louise are great company, and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Their hospitality and Alberto’s cooking were wonderful, and the healthy breakfast was a great way to start the day. There’s a lot to love here: they restored La Frattina themselves over more than 10 years, and the place is beautiful. The rooms and service felt worthy of a 5 star hotel. Alberto’s food was a treat each night, with fresh ingredients sourced locally, which also supports local suppliers. Louise and Alberto are warm, welcoming hosts, and we hope you enjoy La Frattina as much as we do.

Louise and Alberto are lovely hosts, and the food is excellent, always freshly prepared. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. With all the nature around, the beautiful property and outdoor pool make this a wonderful place to relax and recharge. Highly recommend!
