Corte Meneghina -Short Stays

The view from the window is lovely, with the church and bell tower, a lemon tree across the road, and the lane. It really does feel poetic, as the name suggests. The rooms are neat, with air conditioning and shutters that keep the heat out well. Luigi was incredibly responsive and helpful whenever I had a question, even when he wasn’t there. I can’t overstate how easy he made things for us. The lockbox self check-in was handy since we weren’t sure what time we’d arrive. There’s a coffee machine and hot water in the welcoming office, Luigi’s lobby, on the ground floor. La Corte del poeta is just a few minutes’ walk from a supermarket, pharmacy, a couple of restaurants, and the canal. Buses to Arluno, Magenta, and Milan run regularly. A Michelin-starred restaurant is a ten-minute walk away, and has affordable menu options. Food delivery through Deliveroo is available too, which was a big plus when we wanted food during riposo. Thank you for our time there. Grazie mille.
