Sleeping in the castle was something special, and the owners are thoughtful about explaining its history and beauty. It would suit a romantic break, and history fans too. Chiara and Armando made us feel like royalty, they’re such a kind and helpful couple. We’d suggest asking them to arrange an aperitif in the tower garden. Chiara cooks wonderfully and managed a last-minute aperitif and dinner for us on August 15th!!! Armando paired the food with delicious wines. It was a unique experience. Thanks for such a surprising and memorable stay!

The castle stay felt like a fairytale, and the view was beautiful. We had a great time, and the woman serving breakfast was very kind. Still, the guided castle tour cost €20, which seemed a bit much after paying €140 for the night and another €30 for breakfast.

The suite had a living area and bedroom, plus a bathroom, and the bedroom ceiling was stunning. We also had a spectacular view of the landscape. Caccuri is considered one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, and the castle’s impressive restoration has turned it into spacious rooms and suites that bring out the area’s history. Getting there by car isn’t easy, but parking is available a few hundred meters away, and a handy shuttle takes you and your luggage to the property. We’ll remember breakfast in the outdoor relaxation area at the foot of the tower, with excellent products and views of the village and surrounding landscape. Swifts circled the tower in a magical way. Armando, Chiara, and all the staff deserve a special mention for always being available with help and advice. @iviaggidiema

Breakfast was served well, and we had a wonderful view from our spacious, nicely furnished room. Sleeping in a real castle is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of experience.

It looks beautiful from the outside, but the public area inside, which is managed by the municipality, was disappointing and poorly maintained. The guide was just mediocre. I felt they could have shared more, or shown a little more enthusiasm.
