Villa Ilaria

Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of it. We felt warmly welcomed, and the place had a family-friendly feel while still being attentive.

We ended up without a room with less than a month to go, after losing other hotel options while waiting for her answer. I’d asked to book one room for separate dates in January, February, and March. She confirmed January, then asked me to wait on the rest because she was on vacation. More than a month later, she declined, saying it was high season and that one night wasn’t worth reserving for her. The lady was extremely rude.

The balcony view is priceless, and the setting feels straight out of a fairy tale. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly. The rooms are beautifully kept and furnished with taste, and breakfast was superb, with homemade cakes and fresh croissants. I highly recommend this lovely B&B.

It’s a small family-run hotel with large rooms and friendly staff. The location is handy for the main road from Trento/Verona into the mountains, just a three-minute drive away, but the hotel stays quiet and out of the traffic. Pinzolo is five minutes by car and Madonna di Campiglio about twenty. Excellent value. I’d just have liked a little more soap and shower gel.
