Really nice b and b, with a roomy modern room that isn’t cluttered. The bed was comfortable, and there’s a fridge, TV, air con, and things for making water, coffee, and tea. The bathroom was great too, with toiletries.

It was fine.

The hallway to the room was very unsettling, extremely dark, and the lights didn’t work. I was staying alone and didn’t feel safe, especially with strange men hanging around on the street, as other Google reviews mentioned. On my second night, the police were called to the building because of one of them. I was very relieved to already be in my room. I’d asked about checking in at 4 pm and got a rude response saying it was only possible from 5 pm. The accommodation was extremely poor value for money. I wouldn’t recommend it for women traveling alone.

The room itself was okay for cleanliness and furnishings, and the bathroom was all right. But there were no curtains, so during the day you either had neighbors looking in or had to close the blackout curtains. The view was awful, and there wasn’t even a bottle of water. Getting the access codes was a struggle. Getting around the building was unpleasant: the hallway in the apartment was completely dark and its light came on automatically only after a few meters, for a very short time. The stairs were damp, smelly, and peeling, with flowerpot remains collecting rubbish. The old elevator was difficult to use, stopped halfway up, and got stuck. The bedroom lock was a gamble too. It was hard to find the right key position, and you could risk getting locked in. Outside, the street was horrible, dirty, and full of garbage, with very little foot traffic. To reach the door you had to pass cars and scooters parked half a meter away, along with countless garbage cans. The door was always open. For the asking price, this was absolutely not worth it. Places like this are a disgrace to Italy and should simply be banned.
