B&B 5 Stelle

I was here for three months on a work stay, and it felt like home. The rooms were cozy and clean, and Carlo, the B&B manager, was kind and attentive to what guests needed. Being so central also meant I could join a well-equipped gym just a few meters away. I could use the kitchen too. I’d happily recommend it.

The room was lovely, but ours faced a square with a popular ice cream place and the noise kept going past 1 a.m. We couldn’t sleep. That affects all the rooms facing the square. There was no fridge in the room, just one in a kitchen that wasn’t airtight, and the shower door was missing, so water splashed around the bathroom. There wasn’t parking as advertised, so we had to find and pay for a spot ourselves. The owner also challenged us about how we’d pay, saying it had to be cash or bank transfer because his card machine was broken.

The owner was so kind, thank you, Mr. Carlo. We’d be happy to come back ❤️ The B&B is lovely and right in the center of Cagliari, making it easy to explore the whole city on foot. The rooms are spacious and have all the comforts.

We only stayed one night, mainly because the B&B is a 20-minute walk from the center of Cagliari. The building feels a little dated and faces a quiet square, with lots of amenities nearby. The room itself was lovely, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast arrangement was the letdown. Nobody told us where to go, so we called the manager, who said to help ourselves in the kitchen. There were only two discount-store snacks, a few open packets of biscuits and toast, and jars of jam and Nutella scraped almost empty by who knows who. We ended up getting something from the bar downstairs. A little more attention would help, perhaps single-use jam portions and similar things. Apart from that, everything was fine.
