B&B Casa Mira

The owners were incredibly kind, and I felt completely at home during my four days at this B&B. It was clean, with a generous, excellent breakfast. The place is just steps from Piazza della Repubblica, on a quiet street, and the location was excellent. What more could you ask for?

We stayed for two nights and found the B&B old and dirty. The online photos are out of date, and breakfast was very basic, not continental. The furniture was mismatched and very old, the room fridge was noisy, the bathroom had mold, and the sheets smelled. The breakfast room was a mess, with food, trash, plants, and everything else all mixed together. Another B&B had referred us here, saying we could stay for the same price. Despite my calls, the other operator's calls, and an email asking them to confirm the conditions, I was charged twice the agreed amount when it came time to pay. €95 a night seems excessive for a B&B in this condition.

The location was the best part, very handy for getting around, and the price was right. Elio looked after me wonderfully and paid attention to me the whole time. The house is old and a little ornate, which makes it feel like stepping back in time. It's also really nice, and the sink and shower are very comfortable.
