The shower only gets lukewarm at best, and the mattresses are so worn and sunken in the middle that they cause back pain. The kitchen had no utensils, plates, or cups, and there was no gas for the stove.

A great place to stay, with an excellent host.

If quiet and privacy matter to you, this probably isn't the place. The welcome and service felt mediocre, and the terrace and garden are run-down, with cobwebs everywhere. Rooms sit very close together and you reach them from a tiny landing up steep, shaky wooden stairs. I wouldn't consider it suitable for young children or anyone with a disability.

We felt at home in the clean, comfortably furnished apartment and would happily return. It's in a peaceful spot, with shops and restaurants close by, and the sea is about a 30-minute walk away. The communication was especially friendly and helpful.
