The manager was very friendly and helpful, and there are several good restaurants within walking distance, including two pizza places and a Chinese one a bit farther away. Our room was in a subdivided apartment near a supermarket and a handy bus stop downtown. The #1 bus gets you to the port in 15 minutes, and there’s a free city parking lot across from the B & B. A week-long bus pass is definitely worth getting. It was a real bargain compared with other hotels, especially the ones by the water. The room had some downsides: a tiny shower, a very low bed, thin walls, a small TV, and no blackout curtains. There weren’t many electrical outlets, so we bought a power strip. Hotels and Ubers are super expensive.

The host Andrea is one of the kindest, most helpful people you’ll meet. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the B&B is near a bus stop for town and, in summer, a direct ride to Poetto beach. We had a wonderful stay and absolutely recommend it!

The room was great, and Andrea was a helpful host who spoke English. He gave us suggestions for places to see around Cagliari and advice about parking, and helped with everything we asked. He even lent us his sun umbrella for free.
