Leticia was fantastic and helped us with everything during our 3-night stay last week at Albergo Diffuso Birkin Castello. The rooms have a vintage European style and are spread across different buildings in Castello, the historic district. We found the location very convenient for visiting the attractions, and really enjoyed the breakfast and our stay.

Check-in is online and communication happens over WhatsApp, with no physical reception. This virtual setup worked well for us. The rooms are stylish and breakfast is very good. Castello is lovely and quiet, though getting up there from central Cagliari takes strong legs.

The historic district location is ideal, though parking is scarce and the contact person helped us with where to park and how to get to and from the parking area. The hotel is up a hill, with plenty of steps if you’re walking. Our room was newly remodeled, clean, and modern, with a very nice bathroom and amenities. Breakfast was plentiful: fruit, breads, croissants, breakfast cakes, cooked eggs and ham, juice, and good coffee. The price was right, too. I’d definitely stay again.

The room was spacious and clean, and breakfast service was great. I chose what I wanted online the night before and picked a time, then it arrived promptly in my room. Self check-in was handy since my room was in a separate location from the main hotel, so I didn’t have to take my bags to two places.

The old town location made it easy to explore the city on foot, and the room was extremely clean, with daily cleaning that made the stay comfortable. It was well equipped too, with a large TV, fridge, and coffee machine. This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Italy, and I can highly recommend it.
