Casa Marina

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The place is right in central Cagliari, close to restaurants and within walking distance of buses for visiting the attractions. You can also just walk around.

The host Alberto was open to questions and always helpful. The guesthouse is close to the train station, about a 10-minute slow walk, and every train leaving there stops at the airport. The bus stop for Poetto beach and other important stops is around five minutes away, next to the marina. The room was bright and spacious, with a big comfortable bed, AC, a small fridge, and a nice bathroom. The location is fantastic for reaching important spots in the old town quickly on foot. There's a wide choice of souvenir shops, mini markets, restaurants, bars, and cafes on the same street and nearby. Fully recommend!

We had a lovely vacation, and the apartment looked just like its description and photos. Alberto was a real host, always looking after his guests and ready with help or advice. Highly recommended!

We arrived from Australia on Sunday, 27 August, for a 3 pm check-in, but even when we got there at 4 the room wasn't ready. The owner asked us to wait another hour. The bathroom was filthy and smelled terrible, and the bedroom hadn't been made up. We only got two towels for five nights, with no toiletries. We weren't allowed to use the kitchen, and the fridge was off and smelled moldy. There were three flights of stairs with no lights, so we had to use our phone torches to get up. No kettle or facilities for making tea or coffee either. I booked through a travel agent and told them how disappointed I was. They said they wouldn't recommend this place to anyone in future.
