There was loads of room for two, and the apartment was really cute with everything we needed. It's in a great location, and I'd happily stay again. Just keep in mind that Friday and Saturday nights can get very noisy outside. That's not the apartment's fault. The stairs from the street are also dark and a bit hazardous after dark.

We only had one night in Cagliari before our flight, and I regretted not allowing more time. The old center has plenty to explore, from cafes and restaurants to artisan shops and nightlife. The Castelletto made a great base, central and near everything, yet quiet because of the traffic restrictions. Our host was very accommodating, and the place was exceptionally clean and well equipped, with a small kitchen, large TVs in both the bedroom and living room, a workspace with a computer, and lots of room. With its tall ceilings, big windows, and beautiful original paintings, it felt more like a palazzo than a B&B. Couldn't feel more Italian. I'll be back!

Avoid Castillo suites. Before we arrived, the owner put a preauthorization on my card for the full bill, then said she could only take cash because her machine wasn't working. During our stay she requested extra cleaning money, even though cleaning was included in the daily rate. The apartment didn't need extra cleaning, and it wasn't cleaned on two of the days we were there. Still, the owner charged 150 Euros to my card without permission. That charge showed the card machine was working after all, despite her claim that she could only take cash. I felt this was fraud, and would tell others to stay away.
