The worst part was the owner’s behavior. We still hadn’t received check-in details for the expected midday arrival by 10:45 that morning, despite messaging. When we finally called, he shouted aggressively and threatened to make us wait until 6 pm if we didn’t leave him alone. He then came to the apartment and shouted violently at me for messaging too much. I couldn’t believe it, he seemed mentally unstable. It was extremely unsettling and made it impossible to relax. The apartment was awful too: the air conditioning and toilet seat were broken, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the phone signal was poor inside. The furniture smelled, the kitchen had only two awful plastic beakers, the cutlery and other kitchen things were dirty, and the freezer was a health hazard. Worst of all, I strongly suspect the bedding hadn’t been changed. It smelled of greasy hair, and my wife found long hairs on the sheets. Owners shouldn’t take your money and ruin your holiday like this. Take my advice and steer clear of this apartment and its owner.

We paid €256 for four nights, which felt reasonable for a place right in the center of Cagliari. The owner was friendly and easy to talk to. The bedroom was very large, with a comfortable bed, a nice view, air conditioning, and a TV. The kitchen and toilets were super clean. We’d definitely recommend it!

The owner was the worst part. When we politely asked him to consider a few comments about the place, he was rude and tried to scare and blackmail us. The room itself was the worst place we’ve ever stayed: it was dirty and smelled awful the whole time. The windows wouldn’t close because the air conditioners had been fitted badly, and morning light woke us very early. There was no balcony. A thick piece of paper acted as a wall between our room and the next one, so we could hear every noise and felt anyone could potentially enter our room. The toilet was too narrow and poorly installed, and its door wouldn’t close. There were only three towels for four people, with no face towels, and the couch was uncomfortable, among plenty of other problems. Stay away!

Fabrizio replies quickly to questions on Whatsapp. We had a very pleasant stay, and the location is beautiful and convenient. The room, kitchen, and bathroom were all very clean.

We found the room clean and centrally located, and the price was really low. The owner was lovely and quick to respond, and even let us bring our mountain bikes up to the room. I’d recommend it!
