The whole hotel felt modern and was spotlessly clean, and the staff were all so friendly. We slept well, with very little noise despite being close to the station. It’s also near the ferry terminal and an easy walk to the city centre sights and restaurants. We’d stay again.

There are only 16 rooms on the building’s second floor, and it’s a cosy hotel with a decent sized room opposite the train station. The room was cleaned daily, but I’m not sure the floors were mopped regularly: my bedroom slippers had black soles after the stay. Breakfast was included, a small daily spread, and the service was friendly. Parking is available at the train station, about a 10-minute walk away. The walls are thin, so light sleepers might have trouble.

We were really pleased to find this fairly new, family-run boutique hotel. Everyone was lovely and helpful, and the rooms were nice; breakfast was served on a pleasant terrace. It’s about a five-minute walk from the main restaurant street, and I can recommend the vineyard wine tasting mentioned in the leaflet at reception, around 20-25 from the hotel. If you arrive by car, expect street parking to cost money, though one side of the street is free. You only pay for a few hours in the morning and a few in the afternoon. This little hotel exceeded our expectations, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The family who owns and runs the hotel, and who I believe live on the premises, have kept it clean and well managed. It’s right across from the train station, with an easy transfer from the airport. The maintenance staff were professional and friendly, and helped with requests even when they seemed beyond their usual services. I’d recommend the hotel for either a holiday or a business trip. You might find cleaner rooms in Cagliari, but not friendlier people. Ciao.
