The staff were wonderful, so kind and helpful, and the location was great for walking to lots of nice restaurants. I could park on the street for free. I really wanted to leave a glowing review, but the room let me down. I was put in an accessible room and don't know why. I didn't think much of it at first, until I used the very high toilet, which was clearly adapted for someone in a wheelchair. The toilet seat was also a little wobbly. I reported it and was told it had been fixed, but it hadn't. From the bedroom I could see into another room, and the curtains weren't blackout, so I felt a bit uncomfortable changing there. Breakfast was very basic, and extra things like scrambled eggs cost more. I don't think I'd come back, though other reviews suggest people had better stays. Maybe I was just unlucky.

I was drawn here by what seemed like a lovely project and a great initiative. They welcomed me warmly and the service was quick. The appetizer was amazing, but the main course was plain and lacked flavor, color, and effort.

The staff here are incredible. We stayed in a room and had an amazing experience, with delicious breakfast and such kind people throughout. Six days later, we were back in Cagliari with three hours to spare before our flight, so I called Anne to ask if she might be able to keep our bags. I was happy to pay and expected nothing, but she said it was no problem and wouldn't take any money. She offered us coffee and water, carried our bags, and called a taxi to the airport. We weren't paying guests anymore, and they still treated us so generously. They're lovely people with big hearts. Thank you, Locanda. We'll be back!

The food and staff were nice, and I had my first Italian beer in Italy! It's a convenient option if you're staying just a little outside the main city. Looking around, though, it has the feel of a day care center, with preschool toys pushed into the corners to make room for restaurant tables.
