Mercury Rooms

The lift often wouldn't come down to the ground floor, so we had to go up to the first floor to call it. Our room was on the sixth. We enjoyed having a balcony, though that meant booking the Deluxe room. The mini fridge was tiny but usable. We were also surprised to find this is a regular residential building, not a hotel, since we hadn't seen that information when booking. It took us a while to locate the right building.

The only drawback was the very small fridge. Otherwise, our room was modern and clean, with a lovely view, and the staff were friendly and cooperative. We had a really nice stay and would recommend it when visiting Cagliari.

The room was modern, stylish, and clean, with a nicely designed bathroom. The air conditioning kept things comfortable, and the room felt cool and refreshing. It's in a residential building with a rather old-fashioned lift, a little way outside the centre. Before arriving, we found the hotel's contact details on its website after booking through Booking, and the host was very friendly. Communication was helpful, with clear instructions and pictures. We'd gladly return and recommend the place.

Once we settled in, the room felt cosy and had plenty of space, including in the bathroom. The interior was impressive and tastefully designed. It was quiet inside, and the neighbourhood was calm. At first I was wary because there was almost no information about the place, but they'd only just finished renovating and started operating. It still seemed like a work in progress and was hard to find. The lift was extremely small, so I couldn't give it a full 5/5.
