Hotel Palazzo Doglio

We were lucky to stay here for four nights. The staff were amazingly kind and helpful, and I loved the breakfast and the best room shower I've ever had. A special luxury hotel and spa, set around a beautiful plaza full of great cafes, bars, and restaurants. Grazie Mille.

The on-site restaurants all served delicious food, and our room was tasteful and very clean. We really enjoyed our honeymoon here. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

We came back to Palazzo Doglio because we had such good memories from our first stay. The service is still very good, especially at reception and concierge. Gianluca and colleagues helped us with dental and hair salon recommendations and booking appointments, which we appreciated. The restaurant staff, especially Giorgia, were attentive and always smiling, and the lady masseur was good. I’d highly recommend it. There were some problems this time, though. The room phones don’t work, and the air conditioning can’t be controlled or switched off. Some of the hardware seems to be starting to break down. Food at the restaurant was hit and miss: the fregola was good, but the Ombrina fish came out rock hard. I told the manager, and they recooked another fillet. It was more tender but raw inside, and I had diarrhea afterward.

Lorenzo at reception was always friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was extremely good. The rooms are clean, with very good restaurants in the courtyard and nearby. It’s a great place to stay in Cagliari, with a central location and a nice, short walk to the old town. Excellent location and service.
