Hotel Villa Fanny

Everyone at the hotel was incredibly kind, and Marco and Enrico at reception deserve a special mention for all their helpful tips and advice. We loved our stay and will be back. The room was a good size, well kept, and cosy, and the city centre with its many restaurants and bars was within walking distance.

I slept comfortably the whole stay, which matters to me because I’m chronically ill and can be fussy about beds and pillows. The rooms were so clean, housekeeping was great, and the hotel was beautifully decorated. Reception were always ready to help, and breakfast was delicious before a busy day of holidaying. The garden was lovely for sitting with a macchiato, and the bar staff know an immense amount about drinks. I couldn’t have wanted for more. I hope to stay again if my budget allows.

The room was lovely, with a large shower and air conditioning, and the property has been renovated with great taste and kept pristine. Staff were always around to help or share information, and very nice about it. Restaurants and shops are a 10-minute walk away. I’d happily return and recommend it. Thank you.

The hotel looks stylish and smart, and the rooms are large, but a few things let it down. The air conditioning is too noisy, there’s no off-street parking, and breakfast is limited unless you pay extra. Our king-size bed was two singles pushed together. There are plenty of restaurants about a 15-minute walk away. I don’t feel a need to rush back, since Cagliari has limited appeal to me. In my opinion, three days is enough.
