Villa Vaghi Rooms

The B&B was spotless and the bed was comfortable, and it’s easy to get around from there. Buses stop right outside, there’s a supermarket across the street, and both the beaches and city center are within walking distance. We were traveling with two teenagers, and Guilia gave us lots of useful tips about nearby places and services. We had a great stay and would book again.

Guilia and her family gave us a lovely welcome, and we paid 50 euro for the round-trip airport shuttle. The villa is clean and comfortable, with air conditioning that worked well in the 30-degree heat. Although the road outside is busy, there was very little noise once we were indoors. It’s between Cagliari city and Poetto Beach. The PF or PQ bus goes to either, depending on which side of the road you catch it from. A 7-day pass costs 12 euro and covers all routes, which is great value. There’s also a supermarket across the road with a great selection at good prices, plus a restaurant serving tasty pinas. Breakfast is mostly prepackaged, but there’s enough choice to fill up before sightseeing. We had a great stay for a reasonable price.

The host and room were both amazing. You’re right by the beach, though the city center is a little farther away. The outside area still looks a bit rough and is under construction, and breakfast wasn’t that good. Still, it was a very good stay.

We felt so at home here that leaving was hard. Giulia is a lovely, welcoming host, treats guests like family, and is always reachable. The room looked just as nice as it did in the pictures, with thoughtful decor and everything we needed. It was also very clean and smelled lovely from the moment we arrived. The balcony is accessed from both the bedroom and bathroom, and it’s a lovely place to sit among the beautiful plants Giulia tends with care. Having breakfast there felt like being in a green oasis. The B&B is well placed for evenings in Cagliari, with great bus connections, and for driving or scootering to the beaches along the south coast during the day. Poetto is only a few minutes away, though there are other nearby beaches worth exploring too. We’d happily recommend the B&B and will definitely return. Thanks so much for everything!
