Minissale Farmhouse

My husband and I spent an afternoon with Tino and his mother learning to make tagliatelle, bruschetta, and cannoli filling. Then we had a wonderful lunch featuring what we’d made, along with more. Tino is a perfectionist, and we highly recommend the cooking class or a meal at their farmhouse.

The hotel is brand new and has all the modern comforts. Tino and his family made us feel like we were visiting relatives, with such warm hospitality and amazing food. We had a delicious regional dinner every night and a relaxing vacation. Thanks, Tino and family!

A comfortable, clean, modern place, with a huge garden all around and a real countryside feel. Tino is the best cook in all of Sicily, and you can enjoy homemade food made with fruit and vegetables from the garden. Nicoletta’s desserts are fantastic, especially anything with lemon. Try it all!

We spent four nights at the farmhouse and had a lovely time. The welcome was warm and personal, and the views were beautiful, especially from the pool, although Etna was partly hidden. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was small but authentic, with fruit, brioche, homemade coffee, and everything we needed. Tino easily arranged an early breakfast around 6:45 am for our planned trip. Dinner could be served at a time we chose, was generous, and was very good value. We also took the cooking class, where Tino shared helpful tips as we learned traditional pasta and other classic Sicilian dishes. It was a very enjoyable stay.
