Camping Punta Lago

We’ve been coming to Camping Punta Lago for three years, and it’s been a great experience each time. The vibe is really relaxed and the service is consistently excellent. Most guests are Dutch, with a few Germans, which gives the place a nice international feel. The ice cream is really good too, definitely worth trying. Highly recommend it.

The chalet we had was good, the lake is great, and the place itself is nice. But the campsite owner is very rude and unfriendly. I managed to avoid her ;-) but my brother and his family weren’t as lucky. The Wi-Fi isn’t good. Edit: The owner’s reply is fake, full of lies and completely out of context. They didn’t leave without paying. They parked the car and caravan outside so they wouldn’t block the entrance. There’s no point replying further, and the several reviews about this say enough. Crazies.

The lake is just a few steps away, and there’s lots for kids to do both inside and outside Camping Punta Lago. We had a wonderful stay. Our mobile home was clean, and the owners were helpful and attentive to our requests. They also suggested good places to eat. The evening entertainment was very enjoyable too. Definitely worth another trip next year!

The camping is nice and clean, and the pitches are well organized. But we didn’t get a pitch with a lake view, and they should update the website. The real problem is the management, which stays behind the glass reception building. If you don’t behave as they want, they tell you to leave, right to your face and in front of other customers. That happened to us. I’d say skip this campsite and go to the next one. You only live once, don’t let them ruin it. Life’s too short. Have fun with the neighbors. I didn’t post pictures. Not worth it.
