Deval (LDC133)

We stayed five days with our two children in the attic apartment on the top floor. It’s bright, spacious, modern and clean, carefully furnished, with all the comforts, including a double bedroom, a four-bed room, a cot and a high chair. Mrs. Giulia (the grandmother) welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. The detached house has internal parking and a garden, and the location was handy for our trips: an hour from Val di Fassa, 20 minutes from Trento and 2.5 hours from Cortina. Lake Caldonazzo is just a few hundred meters away. Highly recommended!

The mattresses were a little too soft for us, though we slept well, and the bathroom is small but has a good shower. We stayed in the smaller ground-floor apartment at Casa de Val over the Whitsun holidays. The kitchen is very well equipped, with lots of dishes and a dishwasher. The hostess is friendly and approachable. There’s room for children to play, and we could relax in the garden or on the big balcony while listening to the birds. The house sits beautifully in the countryside between the lake, mountains and apple orchards. Lake Caldonazzo is a lovely 10-minute walk away, and smaller Lake Levico is a 5-10 minute drive. We really enjoyed our stay!

The lake, bars and restaurants are just a few minutes away on foot, and there are plenty of shops nearby. Caldonazzo has a nice range of restaurants and pizzerias, with good tourism 👍 👍 The top-floor holiday apartment at Casa de Val is cozy, modern and has everything a family needs. Several balconies look out over the greenery and lake. The hostess is very welcoming, and the large enclosed garden has a grill. Everything was top-notch for location and quality, all the stars from us.

The only downside was that the beds weren’t very comfortable. Mrs. Giulia was very kind, and I’d definitely stay here again. It’s just steps from the lake and also a good base for visiting nearby places. The attic apartment is on the top floor of a three-story house, with exposed arches. It’s very spacious and charming, with all the comforts: a kitchen with a large living room, a roomy bathroom, a double bedroom and a single bedroom.
