We enjoyed the large breakfast buffet and the very tasty cakes at coffee and teatime. The cuisine was excellent, and the family-run hotel has a very attentive, always friendly crew. The spa is lovely, with a large swimming pool, a family and kids section, Turkish bath, panoramic sauna and outdoor pool. Great hikes and bike tours start right at the hotel, including trips to beautiful Rastenbach Gorge. A most pleasurable stay!

I'm here for the first time at Hotel Talhof, and two more days of my stay are still ahead before I continue my trip. When we arrived by coach, an employee quickly came out to clear the reserved space and help park the trailer. The housekeeping team and reception are always friendly and motivated. Dinner was delicious, and both the service and kitchen staff did a top-notch job. The breakfast buffet was simply magnificent, with nothing missing. I also had an exceptionally relaxing massage with Theresa today. She worked calmly and with complete concentration, simply fantastic. (Dangerous).

The spa is magnificent and incredibly beautiful, and the rooms are lovely, quiet and super clean. It's an easy walk to the lake, and the service was absolutely fantastic. Dinner was an incredibly good eight-course menu. In the evening we could unwind on the terrace with a cocktail.

This is our second visit, and we know we'll be back. We couldn't hear the neighbors through the well-insulated rooms, and the balcony is large. The food is excellent, and the modern spa is spotless. The staff deserve a special mention for their friendliness and for promptly taking care of every request. The location works perfectly for hiking, biking or swimming, and the bus is free.
