My husband and I wandered into this winery while visiting from the United States on our honeymoon. It was a holiday and most places were shut, but the owner welcomed us into his home. He was so warm, hospitable and informative. The wine and views were incredible, and I’d recommend the place to anyone.

The owner was so friendly and told us about the wines and their connection to butterflies as we tasted them all. This is a small family business making wine and apple juice from its own orchards. The location above the beautiful lake was marvelous. Highly recommended!

The winemaker was knowledgeable and passionate, and the wines were excellent. I wish we’d had more space in our suitcase so we could have bought more bottles. So glad we found this small vineyard, which has been in the same family for 500 years.
