Hotel Brianza

The room was clean enough to sleep in, but the place is very dated. The WiFi didn't work and the hairdryer was broken. They don't allow outside food, yet there's no restaurant, and it's far from anything. Taxis are expensive and hard to find if you want to eat out. If you'll need meals during your stay, I'd spend a little more and stay elsewhere.

For €90 a night, this place was awful. Dust was everywhere, including on the TV, shelves, and bathroom furniture, and I even saw spider webs on the air conditioner. The room had no real cleanliness, and there was no sound insulation. The corridors, rooms, and the rest of the visibly 70s building seemed to have had no maintenance. I travel a lot, and this was probably the worst hotel I've experienced. I'd pay a bit more for somewhere more comfortable. Stay away.

The rooms are basic, more for sleeping than anything else, and reminded me of a hostel. That was fine for us since we wanted somewhere near the airport. The staff were friendly, and the short-haired woman with the arm tattoo was especially good with our toddler.

The rooms and building were noisy and dirty, with poor upkeep: a missing lightbulb, a leaking WC, cracked room tiles, a grimy, worn carpet in the corridor, and blinds that were breaking. Soundproofing was very poor too. You could hear traffic on nearby roads and planes taking off from the nearby airport. When booking three rooms for 16 days, two days ahead, they asked for my card details for “booking confirmation” but charged the full amount immediately. Less than an hour later, we had to cancel one room. They refused and only then told me they had already taken the whole payment and couldn't refund anything. Avoid this place.
