The hotel has a bar, and breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The atmosphere is simple, and the breakfast was good, even though it was mostly packaged, commercial products. It's a good choice for the very reasonable price. We came by bike, but there's no proper storage room or garage for guests, so keep that in mind.

The mattress was good, and the two cleaners were helpful. Beyond that, there were loose electrical wires, expired fire extinguishers, and a shower window with clear glass, so you have to shut the door to avoid exposing the house opposite. The closet was very old and had that familiar musty smell, among other issues. I wouldn't consider booking here and can't recommend it.

We stopped here on a whim, and it turned out to be a very good choice. Everything we ate was delicious, and the prices were reasonable.

I'd driven past many times on the way to the lake, but never when it worked out to stop for dinner. Today I finally had the chance, and what little we tried was pretty good. Definitely an experience I'd repeat.
