B&B Madonna della Via

We felt right at home here, and when we come back to Caltagirone we already know where we’ll stay. The B&B was spotless, with cleanliness on par with the best grand hotels, and the rooms inside have been renovated with real taste and practicality. Our group of five, including two children, arrived at 11:30 PM and was welcomed without any fuss. They even helped carry our bags upstairs. Breakfast was classic, with excellent homemade pastries every day and great cappuccino. Street parking right outside was easy and convenient, and the price was excellent.

I’m staying at Madonna della Via B&B for work now, and I’m completely happy with the service, the clean rooms, the breakfast room, and everything else. I first stayed here for two nights last year, then booked a different room managed by the same owners. The location suits me well: it’s in the newer part of Caltagirone, close to lots of businesses, and just a short walk from the historic Agesilao Greco Stadium. My workspace is practically next door, which is a real plus. The rooms have lovely names, Dalila, Charlotte, Gaia, and Margaret, and nice views from the windows. The owners are very helpful, and breakfast is delicious every morning, so I’ll keep coming back.

The breakfast is delicious, always available, and includes plenty of genuine homemade pastries and cakes. The rooms are welcoming after renovation, and having Wi-Fi, a TV, and a private bathroom made our stay more comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, too. With its cleanliness, good service, central location, and excellent value, this B&B works well for all sorts of needs. We’ll definitely return.

Breakfast was all packaged products, because of the pandemic. The outside can be misleading, since the interior is completely new and beautifully renovated. A little more Wi-Fi would be the one thing to improve.
