Our hosts gave us a very warm welcome, and the spacious Maiolica room had a beautiful bathroom and a well-stocked minibar. From the house, the view over the church piazza and the distant hills is a real bonus. The balcony doesn't actually show the famous ceramic steps that lead to the church, but that didn't detract from the stay. For the price, it's hard to beat as a stop in beautiful Caltagirone. It's a darling place in an ideal location. One thing could be better: the breakfast voucher for the cafe in the main square barely covered a latte and croissant. Still, that shouldn't put you off trying Sant'Agostino and your Dreams.

We were unloading a shipment from Germany, and it took about three hours. The streets were so narrow that I could barely get up the asphalt incline. I made it to the second-to-last street and went to look for the workers. They came to meet me, showed me around, and helped me get in and out. Apart from that, they were efficient guys.

Danilo was professional and genuinely kind, and the rates were very affordable. We also tried his restaurant about 4 km away and had a wonderful meal. I stayed at this B&B in August 2020 and had a great time. It’s brand new, right in the historic center, with lovely rooms and careful attention to detail. There’s plenty of parking within 30 meters, and the location gives you a breathtaking view over all of Caltagirone and the famous steps. I definitely recommend it.

The owner was so kind and helpful. We’ll definitely come back. It’s a welcoming, clean, beautiful place, close to the center and near the staircase, with a lovely view.
