The food was fantastic, even for a vegetarian like me, and the views across the city and sea were amazing. It's quite a remote spot, though. On the lovely terrace, people smoked and played Candy crush loudly, which didn't feel very considerate by northern European standards. The rooms also carry sound. Still, I'd definitely recommend this b&b.
We only had one night here, and I wish we'd stayed longer. The place has a great vintage feel, and the food was so good that I'd suggest adding dinner.
While we were staying in Metato, we had dinner here several times. It's a lovely place to eat.
Getting there takes a little effort, but the lovely views, comfortable lodging, warm hospitality, and dinner made it worthwhile.
The owner was considerate in a difficult moment. My dog had died in the nearby Apennines just a few hours before check-in. He understood why we arrived late, set dinner aside for us, and then gave us space to grieve. That kindness, along with how helpful and polite the management was throughout, meant a lot. Breakfast was generous and varied, and dinner was very good too. The area is quiet and relaxing, which I see as a benefit, though cars can't reach the property all the way. The owner can shuttle guests from the parking lot at the start of the restricted traffic zone. The rooms felt more rustic than the photos suggested, but that's down to personal taste. It's hard to put this beautiful place into words. I'd highly recommend staying here for the hospitality.
