Fattoria Ceragioli

Casa mucca Carlina was our home for a week, just a five-minute walk from the main house. It sits among the greenery and quiet of a Tuscan hill, and we had a wonderful stay. Giovanni and his partner were very kind and attentive. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for peaceful downtime while still being within reach of more sophisticated destinations, with Versilia 20-25 minutes away, as well as lots of picturesque hidden places. You feel at home on this farm, and it’s hard to imagine leaving. Giovanni really looks after his guests and makes sure their holiday is worry-free and hassle-free. We stayed in a small house for two, conveniently equipped. The garden had what we needed for a fresh, vitamin-packed salad, and Giovanni's wine was a feast for the senses. The house, relaxing atmosphere, and whole area are unforgettable. If there were 10 stars, I’d give it 10. Thanks for hosting us, Giovanni!

Casa Margherita gave us complete privacy and peace, though it’s about a five-minute walk from the pool, as the pictures show. On some days the hot tub made that walk worthwhile. The rooms were clean, and both bedrooms have air conditioning and heating, though we didn’t need either. It’s a historic stone house, so anyone bothered by insects should keep that in mind. Giovanni was incredibly friendly and helpful, and his agriturismo is a dream, especially for families with children. There are a variety of animals, all kept in excellent conditions, and the small shop sells culinary delights from Giovanni's own production and local producers at fair prices. We’d love to come back.

Set among olive trees in the hills above Lucca, the house is lovely, fairly new, and well maintained. Getting there means climbing a steep path, but the owners can take you in a tracked vehicle past the chickens, rabbits, and donkeys. The bedroom is upstairs, and there’s a kitchen, washing machine, and Wi-Fi. Guests share a lovely swimming pool. The surroundings are quiet.
