Hotel Fortunella

We were here for five days and had a really lovely stay. The staff were great and always ready to help. The beach was a five-minute walk away, and the bus station was only a few minutes on foot. We used the bus every day to get to the train station for trips to Lucca, Pisa, Florence, and La Sepzia. We’ll definitely be back!

Pisa and Lucca were easy to reach from Hotel Fortunella, and everything we needed was nearby. We spent five days there, and the staff made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. They were kind, professional, and thoughtful throughout. Our room was comfortable, tidy, and spotless. Breakfast was delicious and complete, and dinner each night was fresh, full of flavor, and outstanding. I’m grateful for the warm welcome and hospitality. We’ll always remember this stay, and I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Fortunella.

We’d happily go back. The hotel runs a very enjoyable wine tasting trip that’s great value, and the beach is only five minutes away. For €25 a day, you get a parasol, two sunbeds, a deck chair, and a director’s chair. It’s a lovely family-run place, spotlessly clean, with amazing food, nice staff, and a good location. Our room was a bit smaller than we expected, though you don’t go on holiday to sit in your room.

The family who run this hotel really care about their guests, and the service was the best I’ve experienced. We had a wonderful stay and will be back. I’m coeliac, and I often struggle to get hotels and restaurants to understand my food needs. The staff here were fantastic about it, and I’ve never enjoyed food so much. The evening meal is served in the garden. Rooms are serviced every day. Lovely hotel, what a find!
