Hotel Moranna

We spent four days in Tuscany and stayed at this small, family-style hotel. The owner was very kind and polite, and breakfast was absolutely okay. The room and bathroom were clean and perfectly adequate. Better than two stars, definitely. I can recommend it without hesitation.

The bed was very comfortable, which was a real plus, and the staff were friendly. The location wasn’t convenient for us at all, and it took an hour to find parking. There was noise that made it hard to fall asleep, and I wouldn’t come back. I’m not keen on carpet, though I admit I hadn’t checked the photos properly before booking. I also noticed some things that weren’t clean, but for one night it was fine overall. The shower was very small and narrow, the French window wouldn’t close all the way, and the bidet tap only gave hot water, with barely any cold. The cold flow was practically useless.

Paolo is wonderful at greeting people and making them feel at home. The rooms are spotless, including the bathroom, and the value for money is among the best in Lido di Camaiore. I’d highly recommend staying here, even for just one night.

I’d booked a room without a bathroom, but they gave me one with a bathroom when I arrived. Everything was very clean and tidy, and friendliness really sums this place up. The guy at reception was helpful and warm. And don’t miss the blueberry tart at breakfast, if I remember right, it was delicious. Highly recommended.
