There's a lot of charm in this typical villa, from the building itself to its decor. It sits in a very peaceful, private spot, with a large garden and a swimming pool. It's a shame the pool isn't heated, since that would make it more enjoyable in autumn. We were greeted warmly, though you'll need to speak English. The covered terrace is fantastic, and the kitchen has everything you need, including an outdoor pizza oven for purists. The sea is about 15-20 minutes away. Set a little uphill, the villa also suits anyone who likes hiking. Florence and the Cinque Terre are each about an hour and a half away, and there are lovely villages nearby. A great place for a week or two.

A fully equipped kitchen and two good restaurants, plus a small shop just around the corner, make this an easy place to stay. The villa is lovely, in a typical Italian mountain village, and the pool is both great for cooling off and a beautiful part of the setting.

We had a memorable break in this typical Tuscan farmhouse, with a private pool and the countryside all around, while the Versilia beaches are only minutes away. It was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'll definitely come back.

We'd happily return. It's a beautiful, very clean and well-kept house, with the feel of a typical Tuscan farmhouse.

It's a little old, but everything is fine.
