The pool had that lovely infinity look, and it was so peaceful up in the mountains. We were welcomed so warmly, and the place made us feel at home. It even felt a bit like staying in Mary Antoinette's house. We only had one night, which was a shame, and the breakfast was lovely. Such a beautiful hotel, and I’d highly recommend it. Thank you!

I turned up without booking after my plans unexpectedly changed, and the host quickly found me a room. He was friendly, flexible, and gave me a good tip on where to get something to eat. The room was great, the scenery stunning, and breakfast the next morning was terrific. I’d absolutely recommend it.

The pool is a real bonus, and the location worked well for exploring the Viareggio area. Our ground-floor room was a little dark, but that also kept it nicely cool in the summer heat. The villa has a lovely rustic feel and breathtaking mountain views. Our hosts were really nice and helpful, and even offered us welcome drinks.

Stefano is so attentive, and I really love this place and its pool. The breakfast, with fresh fruit, was the best I’ve had in Italy. The house has castle-like interiors, and sleeping in the bed at la Melangola made me feel like a princess. I felt right at home and love the area. I hope Stefano, my dog Sydney, and I can have breakfast together next time and become friends. Honestly, I’d love to have this lovely apartment as my own flat forever. This probably sounds like a marriage proposal, but I really do adore the house.

We had a lovely breakfast and enjoyed spending time by the pool. The house itself is beautiful and clean, and Claudia was so hospitable and helpful with directions and suggestions for places to see and eat. Don’t miss the il Fondaccio restsurant.
