Villa Toscana

The best thing about this place is how close it is to all the useful services. On arrival, the staff were kind and welcoming, and gave us plenty of helpful information since it was our first time in Versilia. Parking is paid. We stayed four nights in a triple room with a terrace, but it was dated from the furniture and walls to the sheets and fixtures. When we opened the small balcony door, we found its broken handle lying on a chair outside. The daily cleaning amounted to making the bed, so to speak, and changing towels, but not all the towel sizes were replaced; the towels themselves were old and uncomfortable. The shower curtain wouldn't hold the showerhead, so we had to hold it ourselves. The rooms and property seemed to get almost no care. Breakfast was just passable. Sorry, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Mr. Simone, the manager, was courteous and helpful, and made this family-run hotel feel welcoming. The attic apartment was well furnished, with a fully equipped bathroom, and was cleaned thoroughly. Towels were changed every day. There was one problem with the Wi-Fi, but it didn't affect my stay. The hotel is about 100 meters from the seafront and a five-minute drive from the A12 motorway exit.

Once we left the car in the hotel's parking lot, about 200 meters away, we didn't need it again. The sea and all the amenities are just a short walk from the hotel. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and the newly furnished rooms were welcoming and had every comfort. Great value for money, highly recommended!

The attic room was good value, though it could do with some renovation and a bit more comfort, especially in the bathroom. This family-run hotel is in Lido di Camaiore, very close to the beach, and parking is available for €10 a day.
