Villa El Sa

The hosts made time to tell us about the area, point out scenic routes, and even take us to the beach. Breakfast was a different surprise every morning, with a generous spread of sweet and savory food. We tried pecorino, ricotta, pancakes, pear and cinnamon upside-down cake, orange cheesecake, fresh breads, and fruit jams. After seven nights at Villa El Sa in Calopezzati, we came away with exactly what we love about a B&B, and a warm sense of welcome that’s stayed with us. Thank you so much.

We had a dream holiday here. The beach in front of the house is beautiful and well maintained, and you can easily visit a different beach each day, including ones close by. Giambattista and Assunta gave us great suggestions for sights, beaches, traditional little restaurants, and excursions. They were incredibly kind, and their sweet and savory breakfasts were sublime, filled with quality local and regional produce like cheeses, honey, homemade jams, pies, fruit, yogurt, milk, and juice. The King room had two spacious bedrooms, a bathroom, air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a furnished terrace with a full sea view. The B&B is right by the sea, modern and tastefully furnished, quiet and comfortable. There’s parquet throughout, even in the bathroom, and high ceilings with exposed wooden beams. The house and garden are beautiful. It’s well worth staying here to explore the Ionian coast and nearby area while also relaxing. A big hug and thank you to Giambattista and Assunta.
