A good place to stay, with a lovely view of the sea.

The apartment has a lovely view of Camogli and was clean, though there’s room for improvement. The curtains and duvet were stained, and some storage in the bathroom would be useful. It’s a nice place, but our stay had some serious problems. When we came back that evening, the stairwell was pitch black because the lights were off. Even using a phone flashlight, one of us fell down the stairs. Then the boiler broke, leaving us without hot water. We called, and a staff member arrived quickly but couldn’t fix it. He offered the keys to another empty apartment, which we appreciate, but we didn’t use it because the entrance was too far away. Overnight the boiler began leaking, and I had to get up several times to empty the container. The floor was still flooded in the morning. We reported it promptly, but nobody came. Try again and you might be lucky.

The apartment was nice, though it’s quite a distance from the sea. The quilt and sheets were stained, and the bedding had been left out on the kitchen counter instead of put in a drawer, and wasn’t very clean. A bit more care with cleaning would help. At €120 a night, I expected more.
