Portofino House

The views from Casa Portofino were beyond what we’d imagined. Every time of day brought a different kind of beauty, and we loved taking it all in. Camogli stole our hearts too. It felt authentic and charming, and May was a peaceful time to visit without the crowds. Roberto was so welcoming and kind, and made sure we had what we needed, including fresh towels, coffee, and breakfast essentials. When we left, he even gave us homemade limoncello and fresh lemons. Such a lovely gesture. The apartment was cozy, comfortable, and well equipped. The bed was incredibly comfortable, a real help for my back over our seven nights, and we still didn’t want to leave. We spent mornings over coffee and evenings having dinner at sunset with that spectacular view. One highlight was buying fresh fish and cooking it in the apartment while watching the sun go down. The location was convenient, too. There’s a little shop nearby for essentials, a trattoria with the best mandilli al pesto we’ve ever had, and a bar just below the casa with good food and a great sunset view. The bus stop is a minute away, and we bought tickets easily through an app. If you’re not driving, keep in mind that in May the last bus was around 8 PM and taxis were hard to find after that. We didn’t mind, though. Coming back to Casa Portofino in the evening was a treat. We can’t thank Roberto enough for making the stay so special. We highly recommend Casa Portofino and will definitely return. It felt like a blessing to stay there.
