Giuska and Sharon took excellent care of us at Locanda Fontelupa, and we felt welcome. The property is beautiful, set in a stunning part of the Tuscan hills, and the pool area is especially lovely. The food was very good, though it didn’t quite match the expectations I’d built from the other reviews. Our room had a strong musty smell, and now all our clothes smell that way too. There were no umbrellas by the pool, and the cabanas didn’t always give enough shade. Their cushions could also be cleaned more often. It’s a very nice place to stay, just not quite what we expected.

The team took such good care of us and made the stay feel like being with family. The property is stunning, and the food was delicious, freshly made at every meal by a very talented chef. It’s a wonderfully relaxing part of Tuscany. We’ll be back!

Dinner was a real highlight, a luxurious, unbelievably tasty meal made with organic products. The pool area was a lovely place to relax too. The spacious rooms have lots of character, and you can tell the interior details were chosen with care. It’s a lovely mix of luxurious comfort and authentic Italian coziness. Everything felt high standard, personal, and warm. We loved every second and will be back. If you’re after the Italian “dolce vita,” this is the place.

The whole place has a peaceful, special feel, with a dreamy pool and a beautiful setting. The team, including Giuska, Sharon, Olga, and everyone else, gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel genuinely looked after. They shared great recommendations during our trip, and every breakfast, lunch, and dinner was delicious. Locanda Fontelupa is the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend, this place feels like magic.

The comfortable rooms, delicious food, and beautifully restored farmhouse made for a magnificent stay. Giuska and the team at Locanda Fontelupa were wonderful throughout. We travel to Italy often, and we’ll definitely make an effort to visit again. Highly recommend.
