We had a great stay and would happily come back. The owners were kind and helpful, and the apartment was peaceful, clean, spacious, and equipped with all the comforts we needed. There’s private parking, plus a big terrace and a private garden. It’s also close to the entrance of the fantastic mining park.

We came for three nights on friends’ recommendation and will definitely return. Temperino is set among greenery in a very peaceful spot. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the owners made us feel welcome. Breakfast was generous, and from here it’s about twenty minutes to Rimigliano beach, the Gulf of Baratti, and Piombino.

The breakfast could use a little updating, which is why I’d say 4.5 stars. Still, the place is right at the entrance to the Mining Park, with plenty of quiet and space, and everything you need. Daniela's friendliness and Savoy charm and Vincenzo's lively presence make it especially pleasant. They know the area inside out, and their tips for exploring nearby are invaluable.

The sunny garden is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the quiet. This secluded, peaceful spot makes it easy to take in the beauty of the area and its stunning parks. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and make you feel right at home.

We had three wonderful days at Il Temperino, and both the place and the surrounding area are stunning. Ms. Daniela gave us great suggestions for places to eat and, especially, things to see. We loved beautiful Populonia and its Etruscan remains, as well as the Gulf of Baratti, with its beaches, including one where all animals can roam freely. Thanks again, we’ll be back as soon as we can!
