Hotel Grecale - Venturina Terme

A nice hotel with friendly staff. It's right by the station, making it easy to get to the beaches and other places.

We really enjoyed our stay at this simple, comfortable hotel. It has what you need for a family holiday or a short visit to the region: a pool, breakfast, a lounge, and the train station nearby. The rooms were clean and had air conditioning, a TV, and reliable internet. Parking was available, prices were affordable, and the staff were very helpful and spoke several languages. You can also rent bicycles, and the local beaches are very close.

It's a little outside town, which makes it quiet. The staff were pleasant and gave me a discount coupon for Restaurant Otello in town. My room had a fridge and TV, but the English-language channels weren't working. WiFi was good. There's outdoor parking and a basement garage; I used the garage because it was baking hot when I arrived. The hotel has a small pool, room safes, and a good breakfast selection. It has no restaurant except during conferences. Although there's a railway station nearby, shops and restaurants aren't close, so it's not ideal without a car. For drivers, it's a quiet place with easy access to main roads and convenient parking. Piombino Port, for the Elba ferry, was less than a 30-minute drive away.

A great place, with excellent service and breakfast, including English options. The swimming pool is small but very nice.
