The location was a big part of our great two-week family holiday. Campiglia Maritima's beautiful medieval village is just a two-minute drive away, Suvereto is 15 minutes away, and beaches such as Carbonifera, Baratti and Rimigliano take about 12-20 minutes by car. For an evening walk, San Vicenzo, Piombino and Follonica are around 15-30 minutes away. We stayed in a 1.5-room apartment, which worked for two adults and two small children. The residence also has independent houses, and everything sits among nature, with a well-kept pool in the middle that suited kids and adults. There are barbecues we used several times, plus private parking. Stefano and Cristiano were wonderful hosts who made an effort each day to make our stay pleasant. Thanks for the hospitality, we'd come again!

The pool was a refreshing bonus, and the view was beautiful. We had a wonderful welcome and very comfortable apartments. Couldn't have hoped for a better start to our holiday.

The apartment was spacious, and we didn't hear bothersome noise from the neighboring units. That was about the extent of the positives for our July booking, which felt definitely overpriced. In the 2 1/2 bedroom apartment there was no air conditioning, dishwasher, or washing machine. The fridge door wouldn't stay shut on its own and needed a hook. Practically every door scraped along the floor, made noise, and took force to open. The upper bathroom had low water pressure and the temperature wasn't always satisfying. The lower one didn't have that issue, but it was small, windowless, and had only a tiny 60 x 60 cm shower cabin. There were light switches everywhere, though around 60% seemed to do nothing. None of the rooms had ceiling lights, just wall lamps and dim table lamps, so there was hardly anywhere to read at night.

Such an amazing place. You can enjoy the pool and walk in the forest, with fresh air and lovely trees. A wonderful spot.

The people were amazing, and it's a really nice place for children, too. We were there for the first time last week and will be back soon.
