Camping Miravalle

We come here every year for a few days because I love this campsite. It’s tidy, green, clean, and right in the center near the hiking trails. There’s a cooking area, lots of clean showers including private ones, laundry and drying, and even a place to iron, plus more.

We were surprised by the bill after staying two nights. Three people with a car and tent paid 163€, more than we expected and more than the stated price. The camp itself was clean and very well equipped, with a kitchen, hot showers, toilets, and a restaurant. The weather wasn’t great, so I imagine it gets crowded in midsummer.

There wasn’t much morning sun, so our tent stayed damp and couldn’t dry. The pitches felt humid and crowded, with only mud where the advertised green carpet should have been. We paid 48e for a small tent spot without electricity, while a better site 20mins down the valley cost 30e and included free wifi. Here wifi was 1e per device per day. The staff weren’t very welcoming. The facilities were only okay, and in the morning cleaning they shut all the toilets and showers, for both men and women, at once during the rush. The restaurant was closed because the season was over, and there aren’t many other options in town. Service felt like a chain operation, and the price was a rip-off.

The reception team were attentive and really helpful. The scenery is stunning, and the toilets and washrooms were immaculately clean. Couldn’t fault the place. A*
