The sauna was a welcome way to unwind after skiing, and breakfast set us up well for the day. The staff were friendly, the rooms were nice, and Hotel Villa Rosa is very handy for the lifts, about five minutes on foot to the gondola and three to the ski rental shops. I had a really good stay and would come back to Campitello. One thing to watch: a couple of friends booked a “Deluxe” room, but theirs was actually smaller than the standard rooms. I wouldn’t pay extra for that category. The regular rooms were great, and the hotel itself is lovely.

We could barely sleep, partly because our room faced the main road and the noise made it impossible to leave the window open at night. It was also -15°C outside and there was no heating in the room. We raised the issue again and again, and each time staff said it had been taken care of, but nothing changed. It felt like they were giving us excuses to quiet us down instead of fixing it. What made this one of our worst hotel experiences was the response: no urgency, no responsibility, and a dismissive attitude toward guests. Avoid this hotel.

In -15°C weather our room had no heat, and the staff brushed us off with assurances that weren’t true instead of fixing it. Noise from the main street added to the problem. It felt unsafe and unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We really liked the service and the staff. The rooms are beautiful, and the hotel sits right in the center. It’s excellent value for money.

We loved staying in the middle of this adorable town in the Dolomites. The front desk ladies were so friendly and eager to help, and the spacious room had a comfortable bed. There was even great coffee at the desk. A little trail by the river lets you walk to the next town. Such a good stay, and we’ll be back. It was our best experience in the Dolomites.
