Appartamenti Le Sirene

We still think fondly of Le Sirene, where we stayed two years ago, and we're planning to come back this year with our little ones. The private walkway through nature takes you straight to the beach, and Cavoli is our favorite beach on Elba. The rooms are spotless, and the terrace is lovely for dinner at sunset with a sea view. We also appreciated the warm hospitality and the free, fenced private parking. I highly recommend it.

I stayed here in 2015 and again in 2024, and sadly nothing has changed in those nine years. The price has risen while the quality has dropped, and this review is mainly about the lack of customer service. The location is excellent, but a little less focus on making money and a little more care for guests would help. I reported the problems and nothing was done. The shower stall was in bad shape, with doors that felt like they might come off in my hands each time I showered. The electric stovetop was risky to use, with mismatched knobs and no power indicator. If you couldn't boil water, it was because you didn't know that turning counterclockwise increases the heat. It wouldn't take much to fix these things. People pay real money and expect to get what they paid for.

The rooms are on the small side and a bit basic, but they have what you need, including air conditioning and a huge shower. The terrace overlooking the sea is lovely, and there are steps leading directly to the beach. Federico’s kindness and friendliness made the stay even nicer. Check-in and check-out times were very flexible.

The apartment is basic and could use a little more attention in places, but the shared terrace has a beautiful sea view. Getting there from the parking lot with luggage is a bit of a challenge. I wouldn't suggest it for older guests or anyone with mobility issues.
