The staff were consistently helpful, and the service was very good. We did have lovely views, though the beach was quite a way away. Our room was rather small, there was rarely much hot water, and brown material that I thought was rust kept coming from the taps.

The noise was terrible.

We brought our two dogs for the second week of August and had no trouble at all. The evenings were fun and carefree, and the entertainers were so friendly. The welcome was warm, and everyone from reception and the restaurant to housekeeping was kind and available, including the staff who tidied our room. Food was excellent, with plenty of meat and fish, at least three desserts, and ice cream always on hand. We'd happily return.

The buffet food was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and dogs are welcome. It's also a very handy base for getting around the island. The property itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but it needs a major renovation and much better upkeep. The rooms are very basic and weren't quite clean enough.
