Elba Vibe Smart Hotel

We picked this hotel mainly because it is close to the airport, right behind the hangars at the end of the runway. It's about a nine-minute walk or a two-minute taxi ride. The place has been tastefully renovated, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Bikes can be rented for the ride to Marina di Campo beach. Our room looked nice and had plenty of space, though the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. We could also hear a lot through the dividing walls between rooms, which had poor soundproofing. Breakfast was decent: modern coffee machines, a couple of cakes, excellent croissants you can fill yourself, and pan pizza.

Breakfast was just bread and pasta, a little fruit, and coffee served in paper cups. The woman at reception seemed bored. Our room was dirty, with hair on both the floor and bed. The bathroom was tiny, and there was shower gel but no shampoo. Noise was another problem: there was a strange sound outside all night, and the bed squeaked with every small movement. The Wi-Fi was extremely poor, so I had to use mobile data. We were very disappointed.

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, generous and made up of good quality sweet and savory items. The rooms were well equipped and spotlessly clean, with careful attention to detail. Staff were exceptionally kind and professional, always smiling. VIBE SMALL HOTEL is also well placed, with good connections for getting to beaches across the island. A really good stay, and we'll definitely return.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the property was consistently clean and well maintained. It had most of the comforts you'd expect from this kind of place, but the international breakfast selection could be broader. It opened in 2025 and still seemed to be getting finished. The bus stop and location make it convenient for exploring the island, although the road is moderately busy. An otherwise run-of-the-mill hotel.
