L' Oleandro

We stayed here for a week and found the apartment perfectly furnished and very practical, with lots of storage. The rooms were spacious, the bathroom was nice, and the terrace was lovely. It's centrally located but in a quiet spot without through traffic, just a few minutes from the beach. Parking was convenient. Everything was perfect, recommended.

I'm giving one star only because I can't give less. In 37 years, I've never had an experience this awful. The cleanliness of the house was TERRIBLE, and the bathroom was like a Smurfs' bathroom, so cramped and uncomfortable that even taking a shower was a struggle. The air conditioning being "on their own" was a surprise. Nobody told us that when we booked. Very rude. Be wary!!! You'd be better off sleeping on the beach, it would be cleaner and more hygienic. Elba deserves better than people like this!

The apartment was FREEZING during our stay, when the weather was truly inclement. If the house is rented outside the summer months, it MUST have heating. Despite our repeated requests, the staff left our children in the cold, and they all came back with colds and coughs. You can't take a shower in a freezing bathroom and be told only, "we'll give you extra blankets." Essential services are lacking, and the apartment managers couldn't meet guest requests or handle emergencies during our stay. In my opinion, this is truly scandalous.

The apartment was quiet, spacious, well cared for, and clean, with a TV. There was a lovely garden, covered parking, a washing machine, and two outdoor sinks. Too bad there's no air conditioning, though it does have two fans with lights and three speed settings.
