Trilo Pozzo al Moro

We came for a five-day long weekend to explore Elba Island by motorcycle, and needed a kitchenette and somewhere to park the bike. The location worked well, close to the center of Marina di Campo and to the roads leading to the island’s various attractions. The staff were welcoming and really kind. The property is a bit dated and could use some updating, but we had a good stay overall.

We stayed in the Fiordaliso studio for the last week of July 2024. It’s small, but comfortable for two, with a functional kitchen equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom is very spacious, with a bidet and large shower, and the apartment was very clean. Towels and soaps were provided. Outside, there’s a lovely table and loungers under the maritime pines. We didn’t have air conditioning, but leaving the door and window open gave us great ventilation, and we never felt hot. Wi-Fi was weak inside the room, though you could get a signal outside. The residence is excellent, surrounded by greenery and not far from the center of Marina di Campo, with its bar and pool. A special thanks to receptionist Jessica, who was kind and friendly throughout our holiday. We’ll definitely be back!

The pool is lovely, and the on-site bar is handy. It’s a quiet residence close to everything, though I’d suggest more separation between the outdoor areas of the apartments. The place is clean and well organized, with very comfortable beds and pillows and an excellent large bathroom with a window. The kitchen is a little small, but manageable.

We really liked how peaceful the residence was in mid-August, and it was easy to rent bikes and reach the center and beach of Marina di Campo in ten minutes along a safe village road. Cleanliness was top notch. I also appreciated the useful household supplies, including garbage bags, dish detergent, sponges, and shower products. We brought a fan, but didn’t need it thanks to the ceiling fan blade and small outdoor terrace. The pool is convenient, as is the bar, which has an arrangement with the residence and serves everything from breakfast to aperitifs.
